A Shop has been ram raided on Saffron Lane

A police cordon is in place on Saffron Lane this morning.

A car has rammed into the Cash Generator Shop causing significant damage to the front shutter and brickwork.

Police forensic officers are at the scene. It’s reported that this ram raid happened in the early hours of this morning.

Recovery of the red Ford car is currently taking place.

It is still unclear if anything was taken during the raid.
