A police cordon is in place on Belvoir Street this morning. Sections of the street have been cordoned off following an overnight incident. A cordon has been set up near Harvey's nightclub, where a first aid kit and other items are visible within the taped-off section. Rapist jailed for abusing teenage boy more than 10 years ago
A man who raped and began sexually abusing a teenage boy in 2015 has been jailed. Mark Watson was sentenced to 12-and-a-half years at Leicester Crown Court yesterday (Thursday 9 July).
