Police are investigating a burglary after a car was reversed into the shutters of a store in Saffron Lane, Leicester. As part of enquiries, police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the incident. Emergency services are dealing with a Road Traffic collision on Saffron Lane near the junction of Knighton Lane East. A car has hit several parked vehicles and ended up on its side. A Mile-Long stretch of Aylestone Road is to be resurfaced this summer, thanks to Government funding. Last night, an illegal e-bike rider collided with a drunk driver on Saffron Lane. The collision happened Saffron Lane around 9.30pm. Monday 1st June.
