Police investigations continue in Glenfield in connection with firearms offences.

This morning an extended police cordon remains at a Glenfield address. Armed police attended last night in connection with two recent firearm offences in Leicestershire.
This lunchtime forensic officers are searching the front garden while a specialised police dog unit is also present.
Leicestershire Police have not provided any further updates on this ongoing investigation.
