Another fatal stabbing here in Leicester
A murder investigation has been launched by detectives from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) after a 59-year-old man was stabbed in Conduit Street. East Midlands Ambulance Service contacted police at approx.1930hrs to Conduit street as they were treating a patient with stab wounds at the location. A man, aged 59, was treated at the scene but sadly was pronounced dead a short time later. Police arrested a man, aged 29, near to the scene on suspicion of murder

Appeal following death of 48-yr old man in Highfields
Breaking News Police are appealing for information from the public following the death of a 48-year-old man who was found in Pluto Close, Highfields. Police were called at approx. 2pm on Sunday 13 August to reports of a seriously injured man lying in the road near to Framland House, in Pluto Close, Highfields.
