A murder investigation has been launched by detectives from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) after a 59-year-old man was stabbed in Conduit Street. East Midlands Ambulance Service contacted police at approx.1930hrs to Conduit street as they were treating a patient with stab wounds at the location.
