Teenager seriously injured in collision in Catherine Street
Officers are appealing for information after a 15-year-old girl was seriously injured following a collision in Catherine Street, Leicester, yesterday evening (Thursday).
Police were called at 9.52pm to the area, near the junction with Rearsby Road, following the incident which involved an orange Suzuki Swift car and a black off-road motorbike.
East Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendance and the girl, who was a passenger on the motorbike, was taken to hospital where she currently remains with serious injuries.
The driver of the car and the rider of the motorbike have not suffered injuries.
An investigation remains ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision and officers are appealing to anyone with any information in relation to the incident to make contact.
