Police have closed off a street in the West area of Leicester this morning due to a serious incident.

A police cordon is in place along with a blue tent on Compton Road here in the City this morning.

Police forensics teams are currently working at the scene.

The road closure is between Mountcastle Road and Wolverton Road.
