Appeal after two children bitten by a dog. Officers in West Leicester are appealing for public help in identifying a woman after two children were injured by a dog. The incident took place in a playground on Vernon Street, Leicester, on Sunday 19 April. The victims, aged 11 and 6, sustained bitemarks to their legs and thighs, and were treated at hospital. A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man who was found seriously injured in Compton Road, Leicester, during the early hours of this morning (Sunday). Police were contacted at 6.58am by East Midlands Ambulance Service who were in attendance after being called to the scene.
