A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man who was found seriously injured in Compton Road, Leicester, during the early hours of this morning (Sunday). Police were contacted at 6.58am by East Midlands Ambulance Service who were in attendance after being called to the scene. A police cordon is in place along with a blue tent on Compton Road here in the City this morning. Police forensics teams are currently working at the scene.
