A man has been arrested following a report of a serious sexual assault in Great Central Way last month.
The man, who is 21 and from Leicester, was arrested in connection with the incident this morning (Thursday 7 April). He remains in custody at this time.
Enquiries into the incident are continuing, but a victim – who left the scene – has not yet come forward. The report was made by a third party.
Detective Constable Natalie Atchison, from the force’s Signal team, said: “We are still working to establish the identity of the victim and are continuing to ask her to make contact.

He has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
