Fire crews are currently battling a blaze in a flat on Fosse Road North in Leicester tonight (Monday 11 May)
Three fire crews from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service attended around 9:30 p.m.
Road closures are in place between Stephenson Drive and Battenberg Road.
This is affecting local bus services.
The fire is now under control and residents were safely evacuated.
Please avoid the area if possible.
