Car crashes into shop wall in Wigston

A car has ran into the wall this afternoon at Sainsbury’s Local on Moat Street in Wigston.

The store will remain closed for safety reasons; a building inspection has been requested by the fire service.

The car is well embedded into the brickwork, with a large piece of timber lying across the top of the roof.

There are no reports of any injuries at this time.
