Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision in Hamilton

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward following a fatal collision in Hamilton this afternoon (Monday 27 July).
Police were called to Preston Rise, close to the junction with Cranesbill Road, just before 12.15pm following a report of a collision involving an e-bike, and two other vehicles.
The rider of the e-bike, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported and no-one was arrested.
The road was reopened around 6.20pm.
Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has relevant dashcam footage to contact police.
