A woman sustained serious injuries after falling off a bridge in Loughborough

Multiple emergency services including the air ambulance service attended this incident in Loughborough early this morning on Terry Yardley Way.

A spokesperson from Leicestershire said:
Police received a call at 7.42am this morning (Sunday 5 July) that a woman was on the wrong side of the railway bridge on Terry Yardley Way, Loughborough.
Officers attended the location and a short time later, the woman fell from the bridge.
She has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.


The road was closed while emergency services were in attendance, and it has since been reopened
