A Police incident has closed parts of the City Centre tonight.

Belgrave Gate and the surrounding areas are closed to traffic and pedestrians.

Police are currently dealing with an incident

There is no access to Haymarket Car park, Charles Street and the Haymarket Bus station and surrounding areas.

This incident has a large police presence and Leicestershire Fire service is also in attendance with Fire crews on standby on near by streets.

Bystanders say that a man is on the car park roof .

This incident has now ended, the roads have been reopened.
