A large police cordon is in place in New Parks tonight
A large Police cordon is in place on Aikman Avenue in New Parks.
The road is closed between Pindar Road and Kay Road.
A large area has been taped off, and a large police presence remains at the scene.
We have contacted Leicestershire Police for more information on this incident.
UPDATE 18:45
A spokesperson from Leicestershire Police said:
“Just after 2.45pm police were called to Aikman Avenue following a report a man in his 20s had sustained a stab wound injury.
He was taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Three men – a 24-year-old and two aged 20 – have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
They remain in custody and enquiries into the incident are continuing.”
