A driver has died following a fatal road traffic collision in Shepshed. Police received a call at around 1.10am this morning Wednesday (10 June) regarding the collision on the A512 Ashby Road West near Shepshed. The collision involved a green Ford Fiesta and a white HGV. The driver of the Fiesta, a man in his twenties, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. The HGV driver was not injured.
