Narborough Road murder investigation: Third person arrested
A third person has been arrested as detectives continue to investigate the death of George Glover. Following our appeal to identify a man yesterday (Friday 21 August), a 24-year- old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder last night and remains in custody. A 31-year-old man and 39-year-old woman who were previously arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy to commit murder also remain in custody. Detectives investigating the death of a man who was attacked in Narborough Road have issued an image of someone they want to identify. It is believed the person pictured below may have information that could assist with ongoing enquiries and we are appealing for anyone who recognises him and knows who he is to get in touch. Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man died following an assault in Leicester’s Narborough Road. The incident was first brought to the attention of police on Wednesday (19 August) by a member of the victim’s family, who stated he was being treated for life-threatening injuries at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
