Wanted appeal issued after serious assault in a Leicester nightclub

Detectives investigating a serious assault in a Leicester nightclub have issued an appeal to speak to a man wanted in connection with the incident.
Enquiries have been ongoing following the assault of a 46-year-old man at the premises in Abbey Street, Leicester, on Sunday 9 August.
The victim sustained serious head injuries, including a bleed on the brain, and continues to be treated at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
Extensive enquiries have been carried out to locate 37-year-old Jamie Jordan as part of the investigation. Officers are now urging the public to contact us with any information about his whereabouts.
A 36-year-old man has previously been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Senna Patel said: “We have been carrying out several enquiries to locate Jordan. Those enquiries have now been exhausted and we’re urging members of the public to assist us and to Jordan himself to come forward to police.
"Do you know the whereabouts of Jordan? Have you seen or heard from him? If you have any information, please report to police quoting incident 26*474121.”
