Three people were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following warrants being executed by an East Leicester beat team on Friday morning (12 November).
Officers executed three warrants at properties in the Rowlatts Hill area following information received. Three arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following warrants in East Leicester.
A 40-year-old woman, of Leicester, was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs, an 18-year-old man, of Leicester, was arrested on possession of class A drugs and a 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs and possession of class B drugs.
Items including cash, suspected class A and class B drugs and suspected drugs paraphernalia were also seized.
The three people arrested have all since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Sergeant Ryan Hayes, of East Leicester Neighbourhood Policing Area, said: “This proactive day of enforcement was carried out to address issues and concerns raised regarding drug offending in the area.
“A full investigation now remains ongoing. “Please continue to report your concerns to us and please continue to speak with us if you have any information. We will take action and we will work with you to help make our communities safer for us all.”
