Police looking to identify two people following assault
Detectives have released CCTV images of a man and woman they want to speak to after a man was assaulted in Scraptoft.
The incident occurred in on Saturday 4 July between 9.15pm and 9.25pm in Thurncourt Road, Leicester.
A man, who is in his 20s, was assaulted in the street and has suffered life changing injuries as a result of the attack.
As part of enquires, detectives would like to speak to the two people pictured as they may be able to help with the ongoing investigation.
DC Liam Chapman, officer in the case, said: “This was a nasty assault which has resulted in the victim sustaining life changing injuries which will require him to take medication for the rest of his life.
“From enquiries carried out so far, it is believed the man and woman in the CCTV might be able to assist us with our investigation.
“If you know who they are or have information that could help us, please come forward.”
