Man charged with robbery and theft offences

A man has been charged after a number of offences of robbery and theft in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
Jack Moore, 33, of Montvale Gardens, Leicester has been charged with:
One count of theft from person relating to a theft in Sweetbriar Road, Leicester on 31 May 2026
One count of theft from store relating to a store theft in Exploration Drive, Leicester on 22 June 2026
One count of robbery relating to a business in Granby Street, Leicester on 26 June 2026
One count of robbery relating to a business in Lower Parliament Steet, Nottingham on 26 June 2026
One count of robbery relating to a business in Stephenson Drive, New Parks on 2 July 2026
Two counts of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence relating to the Lower Parliament Street and Stephenson Drive robberies
One count of possessing a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place relating to the Granby Street robbery

Moore has been remanded to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 9 July).
