Lords of Lightning bring high-voltage performance to Abbey Park fireworks night.

Performer shooting million-volt bolts of lightning from his body will be part of a breath-taking live show at this year’s Abbey Park Fireworks Display.

The Lords of Lightning will see a death-defying performer clad head to foot in chainmail manipulating crackling bolts of white-hot electricity in the stunning live show.

The high-voltage Frequency Rider show will see a performer on a podium, controlling music frequencies via a Tesla coil – a type of electrical transformer circuit – to create a choreographed live display harnessing light and sounds accompanied by a high intensity soundtrack.

It is the first time the company has appeared live at the event, which is the city’s biggest and best family-friendly fireworks and bonfire show.
