Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service (LFRS) has deployed resources to Nottinghamshire and Cambridgeshire to support colleagues dealing with major incidents in both areas.
This cross‑border assistance ensures communities continue to receive a safe and effective emergency response during a period of significant demand.
LFRS want to recognise and thank our on‑call firefighters, who have stepped forward and made themselves available at short notice.
Their commitment has strengthened our resilience and enabled us to provide support beyond our own county.
Their professionalism and flexibility remain a key part of how we maintain service to the public.
The assisting stations are Castle Donington Fire and Rescue Station, Melton Fire and Rescue Station, Uppingham Fire and Rescue Station, Wigston Fire and Rescue Station.
