Teenager accused of murdering De Montfort University student enters pleas in court today.

The teenager accused of murdering De Montfort University student Khaleed Oladipo has appeared before a judge this morning to enter his pleas.



Khaleed Oladipo died from stab wounds after an incident on the university campus in February this year.


At Leicester Crown Court on Monday, June 8 Harper Dennis, 18, pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder.


He also pleaded not guilty to two further counts of possessing a lock knife at the time of the incident in Oxford Street on Tuesday, February 3, and, two months later, refusing to give Leicestershire Police the PIN for his iPhone - an offence under the Investigatory Powers Act 2016.



A trial date has already been set for Monday, August 10, and the teenager was remanded back into custody to await trial.


The trial is expected to take between two and three weeks.
