CCTV images released following Leicester distraction theft

Police would like to identify three people after a woman had her purse stolen in a store in Leicester.

The incident happened at around 2pm on Thursday 6 August at a store in Belgrave Gate.

The victim, a woman in her seventies, was distracted by a man while her purse was taken from her handbag.

As part of our enquiries, we are keen to identify the three people pictured as we believe that they may have information about this crime.

We would ask anyone who knows who these people may be or the people themselves to make contact with police.
