Armed officers deployed in Whetstone as robbery investigation continues

At approximately 2pm today, armed officers were observed at a residence in Whetstone.
A spokesperson from Leicestershire Police said officers attended an address on Enderby Road at around 2pm on July 2
No arrests were made during the visit, and inquiries into two recent robberies are continuing.
Police are investigating an armed robbery at a bookmaker's in Glenfield and another armed robbery at a store in New Parks.
Officers suspect that the two incidents might be connected because of their similarities and closeness.
