Appeal to identify man in connection with assault at music venue

Officers investigating a report of assault at a Leicester music venue have released an image of a man they wish to identify.

The incident happened at premises in University Road between 10.15pm and 10.45pm on 5 June.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was punched several times by another man while attending a gig.

From enquiries carried out to date, it is believed the man pictured may have information that could assist officers with their enquiries.
