A man’s body has been discovered in a City flat today by the police.

Police and forensic officer’s were seen this afternoon in the area of a block of flats along King Richards Road.

A spokesperson from Leicestershire Police said

“Police attended a flat in Norfolk Walk, Leicester at around 12.20pm today (23 April) regarding the concern for the welfare of an occupant.”

“The body of a man was found inside the address.”

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained although early enquiries suggest it is not suspicious.”
