A house on Narborough Road South is being searched in connection with a murder investigation.
Police are currently at a house off Narborough Road South along with forensic teams, the corner property on Gwencole Crescent is cordoned off by a police officer standing outside.
Police have confirmed this is part of the Compton Road murder investigation which occurred in early the hours on Sunday.
A spokesperson from Leicestershire Police said:
“The scene is in place as part of ongoing enquiries in relation to an ongoing murder investigation.”
