Tragic Road Traffic Collision on A1 Near Great Casterton Claims Driver's Life
A driver has died after a road traffic collision on the A1 near to Great Casterton. Police received a call at 11.18am today (Friday 1 May) following a report that an HGV, which was travelling on the southbound carriageway, had left the road and came to rest in a ditch. The driver of the vehicle, believed to be a man in his 50s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles are reported to be involved.
