Tribute paid one-year-on to tragic biker

Family and friends attended a road side tribute to Rikesh Surani on Hamilton Way, Leicester. Over 100 people, together with about 50 bikes gathered at the road side in the spring sunshine on Sunday 24th March.

Rikesh, also known as Rome lost his life one year ago. He was a active member of THE UNIT bike group. His fellow bikers paid respect, along side his family and friends.

The lamppost on Hamilton Way has remained a permanent tribute to Rikesh since the accident. A Unit Group Hoody, flowers and other items lay where Rome lost his life.

After this gathering, The family and friends went to have tea and light refreshments at Bombay Bites in Evington Road.
