Police continue to appeal for help to locate missing Amaya

Officers are continuing to appeal for information to help find 13-year-old Amaya Forbes.

Recent sightings of Amaya have been reported in the Kinross Avenue area of Leicester on Sunday June 14 and in the Uppingham Road area of Leicester yesterday (Monday June 15).

Amaya was reported missing from her home address in the area of Tudor Road on Wednesday June 10.

Enquiries continue to be carried out to locate Amaya including CCTV and address checks.

We continue to appeal to anyone who has seen Amaya or who has any information regarding her whereabouts to make contact with us. Thank you to everyone who has provided information or who has continued to share our appeal so far.

Amaya is 5ft 6ins tall, slim and has long braided hair, which is dark brown with some dyed red. She has brown eyes.

When Amaya was last seen on June 10, she was wearing black leggings, a black jacket and a black jumper with black and silver sliders. On June 14, Amaya was reported to be wearing a light grey tracksuit with black style converse.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 721 of 10 June.
