Wigston based charity Community Action Partnership provides community transport for the people of Blaby,
Oadby and Wigston.
Using a combination of volunteers’ vehicles and its own vehicle it delivers around 15,000 passenger journeys a year.
In June Community Action Partnership acquired a new Ford Transit minibus, which can carry nine passengers and one wheelchair user, to enhance its services.
Signage was expertly added by local company Wigston Signs & Graphics and funded by the Rotary Club of Wigston.
A Club representative said that Community Action Partnership provided an important service to those who may have difficulty in accessing public transport and the Club waspleased to support its work.
