Nepal, China helpline numbers issued for nationals amid massive flash floods

Following the flash flood in the Rasuwa district and the Nepal-China border area on 26 August, the Nepalese government has established a toll-free emergency Nepalese language number (1234), and a dedicated hotline (1144) accessible in Nepal.

In view of the devastating flash floods on Nepal-Tibet border, the Indian Embassy in China and Nepal have shared helpline numbers for Indian nationals who may be stranded in or around the areas impacted by floods.
