The National Space Centre is inviting visitors to celebrate its 25th birthday in spectacular style with a special anniversary edition of Space Lates and an exclusive AstroSnores sleepover which promises an unforgettable night of after-hours exploration, silent disco fun and cosmic adventure.

On Friday 12 June 2026, guests can enjoy after-hours access to the whole Centre (including the Rocket Tower and Tetrastar Spaceport) and enjoy a programme packed full of entertainment, astronomy, exclusive experiences and 25th birthday celebrations before bedding down inside beneath the stars – no chance of rain!
Suitable for anyone aged six and above, guests will be welcomed with a complimentary drink and an exclusive limited-edition 25th birthday tote bag filled with gifts, goodies and cookies to mark the occasion before taking part in hands-on activities, live astronomy sessions and a silent disco in the galleries.
The evening's celebrations include a screening of the family favourite Night at the Museum (2006) inside the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium, the UK's largest planetarium. Guests can choose to enjoy the film before selecting their sleeping space for the night, or younger visitors can opt for an earlier bedtime story session.
The following morning, sleepers will enjoy breakfast beneath towering rockets before a special full dome planetarium show. Every AstroSnores participant will also receive an exclusive anniversary mission patch - your badge of honour from a truly stellar birthday sleepover.
Whether you're a lifelong space enthusiast or looking for a unique family experience, AstroSnores promises an unforgettable night of discovery, entertainment and adventure.
Tickets are £85 for adults and £80 for children, with visitors able to extend their stay by adding a National Space Centre day ticket for 13 June for just £5 per person.
