Mum missing with two children – police ask for public help

Police officers are urgently appealing for information about a woman who has gone missing from her home address in East Leicester with her two children.


Shara O’Connor, 34, was reported missing at 5.30pm on Friday evening (19 June) having been last seen at 10.30am that morning.


She collected her two children – Damien, nine and Saoirse, eight – from school in East Leicester at around 12.30pm yesterday (Friday) and didn’t return home.


Their family and officers are concerned about their welfare.




Shara is 5ft 1ins tall with dyed red hair, which is shaved on one side. She has tribal tattoos and a tattoo on the side of her head, which includes a scorpion. She was wearing black trousers when she was last seen, but no other clothing is known.



Damien is white, 4ft 1ins tall, slim build with curly permed fair hair. He was wearing a black and white top and black and white shorts. He wears glasses.


Saoirse is white, 4ft, broad build with curly fair hair. She was wearing a yellow/orange Moana t-shirt and matching shorts.


Shara has no access to any vehicles and work is being carried out to trace the movements of the three.


Anyone who has seen Shara, Damien and Saoirse or knows where they may be now, please call police on 101 quoting incident number 599 of 19 June.
