Leicester's grooviest music festival lands in Victoria Park for a full day of movin' and groovin'!

Summer of Funk Leicester's Music Festival
Last year, we were the first-ever event to use Vicky Park's bandstand for live music, and that legacy will live on. Our main stage this year is even bigger to accommodate the ever-growing (but legislatively limited) capacity of 4,000 people. We fit the festival feel in Victoria Park too, so even though our locally-loved vendors make the site look pretty, you can pull up a picnic blanket where you like and relax.
We all know about the 14 live acts across a wide variety of genres... right?
Well, the first act, a professional jazz-funk ensemble, will already be groovin' when you arrive at 11:00. From there, you'll be taken on a journey through genres such as reggae, indie, R&B, and a lot more jazz and funk. No cover bands either, get ready for a whole day of some of the best original music from all over the UK.
Ticket price
While last year's super-low prices have left a mark on my credit history for all time, I can assure you that this year's are only a step closer to reasonable. With £3 kids' tickets and £3 pints, we physically could not go any lower and still put the event on (trust me).
Any profit will go straight to St John Ambulance, and even they know our prices are dangerously low, which is why we give you the option to donate on our website. In all honesty, our prices are so low that, if we don't sell enough tickets, we won't be able to put on SOF '27, so if you're thinking of coming but haven't bought your ticket yet, please get them now!
