Information sought following burglaries in Anstey.



Officers are appealing for information after a number of burglaries were reported in Anstey.


Between 1am and 4am on Tuesday 30 March three burglaries and one attempted burglary were reported at properties on Cropston Road and further attempted burglaries were reported on Fairhaven Road and Pollards Road.


Two push bikes, a laptop and three mobile phones were reported stolen from outbuildings, sheds and garages.


Detective Constable Jim Chaplin said: “We believe a small group of young men are responsible for these burglaries and we are carrying out investigations to try and identify them.


“We would like to hear from

anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage in the area who may have captured a group of men.


”We also urge everyone to keep their property secure and take precautions such as installing motion-activated lighting.”
