Detectives are investigating a report of aggravated burglary in New Parks, Leicester – and are appealing for anyone who noticed a Volvo V70 being driven in the area in the early hours of Sunday morning (17 March) to come forward.
It happened at a taxi office in Dillon Road shortly after 1am.

The group then made off from the premises in a black Volvo V70, having taken money. Neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
When officers arrived, the Volvo was found abandoned in Stenson Road, having been involved in a collision.
Detective Sergeant David Speight, from Leicestershire Police’s Complex crime team, said: “I’m particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw the black Volvo being driven around New Parks prior to this burglary taking place.
“I’d also like to speak to anyone who has not yet contacted police but who either saw the group making off from the premises in Dillon Road or leaving the vehicle following the collision in Stenson Road.”
No arrests have been made so far and enquiries are ongoing.
