A male immigrant has indecently exposed himself outside an Hotel during anti-immigration protest

Last night, a male migrant indecently exposed himself and used hand gestures in front of protesters and members of the public, including women and children, outside the High Cross Hotel on Vaughan Way here in Leicester.

The incident occurred around 7: 30 PM, Saturday, 26 July.


Shortly before this, another male from within the hotel hurled food out of the window at the protesters below.


A male was arrested at the scene, and eyewitness’s subsequently made statements to the police and provided videos of the incident to the officers.


One eyewitness described the incident as disturbing, distressing, and totally uncalled for.

This was the second night that anti-immigration protesters were outside the hotel, which houses male immigrants.


A spokesperson from Leicestershire police said:


“A 25-year-old man has been charged following a report of indecent exposure in Vaughan Way, Leicester on Saturday.


Officers were made aware of the offence as they were monitoring a gathering of people outside a premises in Vaughan Way.


The offence happened at around 7.30pm.


Amir Khalifa, of Vaughan Way, Leicester, has also been charged with four offences on 17 February this year.


He has been charged with two counts of assault by beating, one count of indecent exposure and one count of public order.


These charges relate to an incident on Glenfield Road, Leicester.


He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Monday (28 July).”
