Police officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a robbery in Oadby. The incident happened in The Parade just before 3pm last Monday (13 July). The victim, a woman in her 50s, was approached from behind by a man who pulled a gold necklace from around her neck and knocked her to the ground. The city council has welcomed the news as part of the Government’s decision on local government reorganisation for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
