Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man died following an assault in Leicester’s Narborough Road. The incident was first brought to the attention of police on Wednesday (19 August) by a member of the victim’s family, who stated he was being treated for life-threatening injuries at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
