Witnesses sought following death of two motorcyclists near Melton
Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after two motorcyclists died in a collision yesterday (Sunday 2 August). Police were called to a stretch of the B676 Saxby Road between Melton and Saxby just after 8am. Family pay tribute to motorcyclist with ‘lifelong passion’
The family of a man who died following a collision in Shepshed have paid tribute to a ‘devoted husband’ and ‘amazing father’. Police were called to Charley Road just after 8.45am on Sunday (5 July) following a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a red Yamaha MT07 motorcycle. Motorcyclist dies in Shepshed collision
A motorcyclist has died following a road traffic collision in Shepshed. Police were called at 8.49am this morning (Sunday 5 July) regarding a single vehicle collision on Charley Road. The collision involved a red Yamaha MT07 motorcycle. The rider - a man in his eighties - sustained fatal injuries and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. An investigation is taking place following a fatal collision in Ellistown – and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Police were called to Victoria Road just before 6pm yesterday (Wednesday 1 July) following a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a grey Fiat Ducato horsebox van.
