A Mile-Long stretch of Aylestone Road is to be resurfaced this summer, thanks to Government funding. The extensive works – which are expected to cost £740,000 – will repair and upgrade the carriageway between Hampshire Road in Aylestone, and Aylestone Road’s junction with Saffron Lane.
