Safer Roads for all

In support of our very own Leicester Media “Safer Roads campaign”. We visited the Shires motorcycle training Free Try Ride weekend, in Beaumont Leys this morning.


Offering Free try rides over this weekend along with free advice from Leicestershire Fire & rescue service road safety team, also the Leicestershire & Rutland Blood bikes was Promoting the work of the charity.


This event is on today and tomorrow.

Leicester Media Safer Roads campaign, over the pass few months in Leicester we have covered some Nasty and fatal road collisions.


Statistics on reported road casualties in Great Britain for the year ending June 2018 shows, there were: 1,770 reported road deaths. 26,610 people killed or seriously injured.


We all need to slow down. “Speed Kills” keep to the speed limit and drive / ride to the conditions on the road.
