Outcry from Tesco customers, over the loss of fresh food counters we visited the Narborough Road store today here in Leicester.
One customer said “ I don’t like prepackaged fish, it’s a waste of Materials and is bad for the environment. Look at It it’s tripled packed Why
Why buy it when you get fresh fish. If they close the counter I will shop elsewhere”
Tesco are planning to closed down some of it’s Fresh meat and fish counters in a cost cutting exercise.
Is this a bad move for Tesco.
Another customer from Leicester said “it’s disgusting Tesco needs to help to save our planet, not pollutant it anymore.
The supermarket chain could also close some of its meat, and delicatessen counters.
The store management refused to give any comment.
