Abdirahim Mohamed murder: Man charged with assisting an offender

Detectives investigating the death of Abdirahim Mohamed last September have today (Tuesday 19 April) charged a man with assisting an offender.

Adam Brant, 29, of Bale Road, Leicester, is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Wednesday 20 April).

Mr Mohamed, 18, was found in Melbourne Street, Leicester, on the evening of 8 September with multiple stab wounds.

He died in the early hours of Thursday 9 September.

Six men have been charged with his murder, while a further three men were previously charged with assisting an offender.
